TakeBack and Recycling

Avocent takes responsibility for the safe disposal of the equipment we manufacture. Available to all customers, the Avocent TakeBack and Recycling Program ensures that old equipment is disposed properly. Any used hardware or cables can be returned. That includes competitors' products.

All collected equipment is recycled and disposed in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Environment regulations. Avocent does not charge any fees for this recycling service. The only associated cost is the freight to ship the parts to Avocent.

In addition, Avocent offers cash rebates for old gear when that gear is being upgraded to a new Avocent technology. Upgrade rebates are calculated on a case-by-case basis and can amount to thousands of dollars depending on the application.
